The banana gives the right amount of sweetness while the cocoa delivers a delicate chocolaty taste without adding an overwhelming amount of sugar. I usually make 2 servings Sunday night and poor them inside small mason jars (keep in refrigerator). When morning rolls around add the toppings you desire. Cocoa Banana Overnight Oats
(Makes 1 serving)
- 3 oz. rolled oats
- 1 oz. steel cut oats
- ¾ c. original coconut milk (almond milk or regular 1% milk)
- 1 large banana (mashed)
- 2-3 tbsp. toasted almonds
- 1 tsp cacao nibs for an added crunch
- Blueberries or Strawberries (optional)
