Need some variety in your breakfast? Here are four easy and simple breakfast toast options to help you keep things fun & different in the mornings!
Sautéed Veggies (Makes 3-4)
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- ¼ Sliced red pepper
- 1 Sliced mushroom
- 1/8 Sliced red onion
- ¼ of an avocado mashed
- Salt and pepper
- Bagel slices
Add olive oil to pan, turn up heat to medium high. Add all veggies and sautéed for 10 minutes or until they reach desired consistency. While the vegetables are cooking take the slice of avocado and mash it in a bowl with fork or other utensil. Spread the avocado onto a bagel slice then add the cooked vegetables to top. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper and you’re done! Serve with a side of egg.
I had to add it! Everyone is going crazy for the avocado breakfast toast. The easiest way to make it would be to peel then smash a portion of an avocado, then spread it onto your bread. Cinnamon Apple Banana (Makes 2)
- ½ Apple
- 1 Banana mashed
- Nut of choice
This one is very simple, mash up the banana and spread it on your bagel toast. Cut your apple in half, face the inside of the apple down on your cutting board and start cutting it into thin slices (similar to how the avocado slices are done). Fan out the apples onto the toast then top with cinnamon and your choice of nuts. I used walnuts for this one.
Chocolate Almond Fruit (Makes 2)
- ½ Banana slices
- 3 strawberries thinly sliced
- Almond butter
- Shavings of dark chocolate to top
Another easy and sweet toast option! Start by spreading the almond butter on your bagel. Add your strawberry slices and banana slices as desired. Then sprinkle the dark chocolate shavings on top. Maybe the easiest one yet don’t you think?
